Here is a very clean example of a quality 1960’s Camera. This Minoltina- S was produced in 1964 in Japan by Minolta. It comes with the original booklet and with it’s original carrying case, which is also signed Minolta and Japan. You can read a little about the Minolta time line and the significance of this particular camera on this website.
This Minoltina is a high quality camera that is still very usable today. The most interesting is the integrated exposure meter. It has the light window on the front left and on the top is an extra very small window with a green needle. When adjusting the camera to the light condition the needle will point to the centre line indicating the correct setting. This also makes it much easier to take special pictures with more or less light. Read a bit more in our article on exposure meters.
