A Swiss made chronograph in a large (38 mm without crown or pushers) chromium plated case with beautiful shaped lugs. In sides ticks a clean and well working and somewhat rare Landeron 51 handwind movement. This watch was made in the Chronograph Suisse style and received the small brand name of “Montagne Watch” on the dial. The silver dial is very clean and has golden numerals that match the gold tone hands. The other 3 hands are a deep blue color. The case is in great shape for it’s age (made in the 1950’s) with only small signs of use and age and great stainless steel back as well. The lugs measure 20 mm apart and sport a new Morelato linnen strap. The plastic crystal is in very good condition as well with only minimal scratches, in the centre there is a small logo. This watch is all original and ready to wear on your special occasions. Make sure to watch the attached youtube video on loads of vintage watch information.
Vintage watch guarantee and ideas on use:
All vintage watches I sell are tested and working correct. When they needed service or adjustment this has been done by a professional watchmaker. I do not keep paperwork on every separate watch. I cannot give a long guarantee on vintage watches since it depends on how careful they are handled. Sometimes rough shipment can hurt them, no matter how well I package them. I will always take them back when there are problems upon receiving or in the first weeks of use. Please treat your vintage watch as a precious old timer car. Do not go out in the rain, play sports with them or take them on long holidays. Do buy a good watch box to keep them in and change your strap in time. Wear them for a few days at a time and change them out. Do not set the date when the hands are within a few hours before or after 12 o’ clock. Never use force, sent me an email if you are not sure on how to work your vintage watch.
