Preferred by Albert Einstein and Werner von Braun is this the world famous model Nestler Rietz 23R. This is the early 1930’s version with screw in the ends. I like this one because of it’s great condition but also the fact that is was specially ordered and sold by the Leonard Neithammer Shop in Frankfurt, which gives it some extra history. It has the better 3 hairlines cursor (hence the R) with centre black hairline and 2 outer in red. It is also the clear view model with only top metal instead of the full metal frame. The Nestler 23R model is made in the 1930’s from wood with celluloid white laminated, hold down with small screws. It is in near mint condition as is the cardboard Nestler case, now only signed with the Niethammer name. It measures 28,5 cm or 11.5 inches in length.
