Description

This is a model Schul-Kaufmann 7/52 slide rule, only made between 1952-1955 by Nestler. A transitional model with earlier type cursor and very much like the models Disponent  (x/22) from Faber Castell. Probably the reason why it was produced for only a short time (law-suit or just no buyers?). It is made in Plastic (Nestler used a compound called Anagit), yet the cursor is still metal with glass insert and 2 hairlines (1 black 1 red) which possibly is a special lay-out for this model. So in many cases a very interesting slide rule. Comes in the original double signed black cardboard box. Slide rule, cursor and box in very good condition with only small signs of use and age, measuring 29,5 cm or 11 3/4 inches wide. Check the attached video on how to work your vintage man tool : slide rule operation instructions!
