Nestler Polymath-Duplex pocket slide rule 0129 sleeve 1960 Germany

This pocket slide rule is very good condition, the earlier version with metal ends.  It comes with plastic chart as well as with the original leather sleeve both made in Germany by Nestler. This model is the elaborate Polymath-Duplex, nr. 0129 with 24 scales on both sides. The Nestler name and model is on the rule itself, the sleeves e signed “Obersee Post Nürenberg” (so probably issued to the Postal service there). The rule is made of plastic and so is the cursor with multiple hairlines. Both cursor and rule have metal parts. Curser, slide rule and sleeve are complete and in great condition with only small signs of wear to one side of the metal ends. It measures ca. 19,5 cm or 7 3/4 inches.
