This bigger size Optimus 181 is a stable home stove with regulated silent burner, from somewhere in the 1950’s but looks like new. This is because it is seems to be half way through a restoration when I got it. In this case the greenish base has been completely resprayed with a sturdy paint coat. It is close to the original color and as can be seen in the pictures it has no wear on the bottom of the stands (or anywhere else), in the small top hole in one corner a steel insert is missing. The original stamped grate is in good condition as well with some stains from rust removal but looks good. The entire brass bits are all moving and present, all original but still a little rough in combination with the fresh base. So I am selling this as a perfect project stove, priced accordingly. It is good solid base (ca, 20 pictures to show you exactly what you are getting yourself into) and you can take it as far as you want or just get it back in running condition. This stove measures ca, 30 cm or 12 inches from tank to the back and ca 15 cm or 6 inches high. Do check the YouTube video I found below to see some of these vintage stoves working!
