PeDe Dienes 411 Bakelite Coffee grinder 1935 Germany

A early and beautiful shaped PeDe Dienes 411 type coffee grinder from the 1930’s. You fill the beans through the top door and the grind exists through the lower opening. This beautiful design is hard to find in good condition due to the nature of the bakelite. This early plastic can easily be chipped or broken, specially when dropped or being openen. This one is in very very good condition without any cracks. There is one very small chip from the the very tip of the lower opening, this is the only imperfection I can find. There are beautiful logo’s on the side and a brass plate with PeDe on the lid. The iron handle is also signed with a very early art-deco PeDe logo. Completely original and ready to use. This grinder measures about 23 cm or 9 1/4 inches high (bottom to top knob). Check out the video on how to use a vintage grinder.
