Peugeot G1 cream metal coffee grinder 1950 France

This Peugeot Coffee grinder from the early 1950’s is hard to find in this condition.It is all made out of metal with wood knob. It is a fantastic machine with the setting for fine to coarse grind in the handle centre. It is working fine and looking good with only some signs of use. The original logo sticker is clear and the door on top is working well, no wobbles or bends. The wood is not shiny anymore, small traces. This G1 type was often used as a travel grinder even bij Army officers. It is vey easy to disassemble by hand, that is why these often have the top know missing or have a lot of wear to the outside. It measures about 19 cm or 7 3/4 inch from bottom to the top of the knob. Beautiful piece on it’s own that screams COFFEE. Do read my blog post on manly coffee tools.
