Schneider Figures 18 Dutch military KNIL unique set 2000 Germany

This is a unique set made from the larger part original figures from ca. 1950. These figures had the old paint removed and the set was complete with an officer on horse back (combination figure) and a newly cast officer on foot. All are cast from Schneider designed moulds (ca. 1900). The set consists of 18 marching figures, 2 officers (one on horseback), 2 flag barrers, 2 drummers and 12 soldiers. They were professional painted in the style of the Royal Dutch Indonesian Army (Koninklijk Nederlandse Indisch leger ) around 1880. The KNIL was an overseas army from Holland (1814 to 1950 in current Indonesia). They are presented in a beautiful box to keep them safe. The figures measure about 55mm or 2 3/8 inches high.
