Set of 4 billiard balls 50mm Holland 1950

This quality set of 4 billiard balls in the size 50mm was made by a specialized factory Holland 1950. The factory was based in the city of Dordrecht and was called the Billiard factory “De Merwede’. Based upon the very short phone number (only 4 numbers) it is a very early factory were I can find very little information about. These 4 balls were enough to play every known game with. The smaller size points towards use on a smaller billiard or a higher game accuracy. These are not made of ivory like the earlier ones but of a resin / compound that is very hard but not to heavy! Nice piece of sporting history.
