Spong no 1 cast iron Coffee Mill with cup for DE England 1960 Netherlands

The famous English cast iron heavy duty coffee mill made by Spong, specially for Douwe Egberts Coffee from Holland (DE-logo). This is the smallest version, the No. 1. Makes it perfect for mounting it somewhere without being in the way all the time. It can be fit to a table top or to the wall with 3 screws (not included). It is in great original condition and comes with the original cup as you can expect from me! You can adjust the grain of the grind on the back. It comes with the later red early plastic handle. There are only minimal signs of use and age and the cup is very good condition. Most of the gold that can wear off over time is accounted for. This type hand mill was made for a long period from the 1900’s – 1970’s. Great to use for coarser grinder for a stove top Moka pot or for a Durobor.
