This is an early spring assisted corkscrew, probably from Germany. It is a nice and solid design that you do not often find. It is in a good vintage condition with most of the plating intact with signs of age and wear. I would guesstimate it being from around 1930. Clear wear to the lacquer on the handle from normal used only. Nice item for your vintage wine collection or wine party!
