Description

From Texas Instruments from the mid 1980’s, the inventor of the handheld calculator in 1967, come this TI-30 Galaxy SLR solar. While Texas Instruments is a USA based company, this calculator was made in Japan. It is also interesting for it’s landscape lay-out while most other calculators ( including the TI-30 range) was in portrait lay-out. Including the blueish plastic housing rather then the steel or black / brown housings is making this one of the first “modern” looking piece of office tech.  The calculator is clean, fully working condition (no batteries needed) and has very responsive keys. It comes with the original blueish plastic box, which is also in very good condition. It measures ca. 15 cm or 6  inches wide. There are only minimal signs of use. Selling for use again or as a cool desk display piece. Do check the attached video to learn all about the history of the HP calculator.
