VEB Tin toy Fire Truck Germany 1950

This Feuerwehr or Fire Truck was made in the 1950’s by the Company of VEB Mechanische Spielwaren Brandenburg (Havel) from the DDR (The part occupied by the USSR after WW2 (behind the wall)). It has the reference nr. 538. The fire truck is like new in the box. The cab is made of bakelite! The rest is made of tin. Good quality paint and all is there. It even comes with the original box that functions like a garage as well. The windup motor functions fine as does the ladder. It goes up and out. There is a small key with the truck (on the box), which I asume is original. Only very small signs of use / storage. The box measures 27cm / 11 inch. Every (big) boys dream!
