Yashica-mat TLR Camera 1950 Japan

This Yashica-mat TLR type Camera is an early version and made in the early 1950’s. Yashica is a brand from Japan that made a line of this type camera’s, this model being the first. It is a heavy design with a lot of option like the doors on top for the view finder have a sports option as well! All parts are there but not al functions are working. The film forwarding mechanism works but there is no cocking or shutter action. The lenses do move in and out and it can be opened and closed correctly. Some of the leatherette is coming loose on the edges, there are more heavy signs if use and wear. Selling this as a display item..and what a display it is! It measures a cool It measures about 21 cm or 8 1/4 inches when open. Check out the video for some vintage camera collecting!
