This is a cool scissor like corkscrew that creates leverage when pulling (after turning it into the cork). It is a system that is still in production by various makers but this ZigZag is the real deal and also patented this type of corkscrew. This can be found on the tag just under the handle. It is in a good vintage condition with all of the visible plating intact (except on the inside ring a piece is missing from wear). There are overall some signs of aging as well. Great item for your vintage wine collection or wine party! It measures ca. 16 ca or 6 1/4 inches wide when at it’s smallest. Check out the video for a vintage corkscrew museum collection! Also see our vintage stuff reference page for more links to corkscrew information.
